"Felt okay ordering, but the waiting was annoying"
I’ll say everything showed up safe and nothing was broken, so that part was fine. But the waiting was kind of annoying, and I kept checking for updates because the waiting was just annoying. The package arrived in one piece, no real issues there, but I do wish the process felt a little smoother because the lack of updates got old fast.

"Packaging was just okay"
The box showed up a little bent, which was disappointing. I also wish there had been clearer communication about the shipping or packaging situation, because I wasn’t really sure what to expect.

"Way faster shipping than I expected"
I ordered from greatscience.com and thought it might take a while, but maybe I just assumed wrong? The tracking came through pretty much right away, and the package showed up way sooner than I expected. Everything was in good shape too, so no complaints there. It was a super easy experience overall, and I’d order from them again
"Decent products, but the support was frustrating"
The products I ordered were fine overall, but my experience with customer service wasn’t great. I emailed them twice because I had a question, and both times the replies took a while and felt brief. They didn’t really answer what I was asking, so I ended up feeling like I had to figure it out on my own. It wasn’t a terrible experience, but it was definitely frustrating.
"Some of the steps made sense, but..."
Some of the steps made sense, but a few parts had me rereading and second-guessing what I was supposed to do. I felt kind of pressured to figure it out quickly, which made the unclear parts more frustrating. It wasn’t terrible, I just wish the instructions were a bit more straightforward.

"Helpful, but I still cross-check"
I’ve used Great Lakes Science Center a handful of times, and my general pattern is this: the simpler overview articles are usually clear and easy to follow, but once the topic gets more detailed, I start noticing gaps. Some explanations feel a little too broad, and a few don’t have enough sources for me to feel totally confident. It’s not a bad site at all, but I wouldn’t use it as my only reference without checking another source too.

"Pretty straightforward and easy to use"
It was easy to use. I found what I needed quickly, and it’s always nice when something doesn’t make you jump through hoops just to get basic stuff done.

"My students lost interest quickly"
I really wanted to like greatscience.com more than I did, but my students checked out fast. A couple of the lessons were fine, like the ones with visuals or quick facts, and a few kids did follow along for a bit. But a lot of it felt like they were just clicking “next,” reading a little, clicking again, answering something, then moving on. There weren’t many moments where they could talk to each other, test an idea, build something, make a guess, argue about an answer, do a mini experiment, draw a model, or really get excited about what they were learning. For example, when we’re doing science, my class usually does better with hands-on stuff, group discussions, videos that spark questions, activities where they can move around, or even just something silly that makes them curious. This didn’t have enough of that for us. I can see it maybe working for certain students who like independent computer work or need a quiet review activity, but for my class as a whole, it just didn’t hold their attention.

"Helpful, but a little basic for me"
I did learn a few useful things from it, so I’m glad I checked it out. For me personally, though, a lot of the info felt basic and more like a quick overview than anything too in-depth.

"Ordering was fine, but nothing really stood out"
The ordering process was okay overall. Checkout went through without any issues, so that was good, but the shipping info was a little unclear, not a huge deal, just kind of annoying when you’re trying to figure out when to expect your order

"Too expensive for what you get"
I paid for a few resources on greatscience.com i wish I had just saved my time and money. The materials weren’t terrible, but they felt basic for the price, like something you could probably find elsewhere for less.
Maybe it’s useful if you’re brand new to the topic, but I was expecting more depth or at least some better extras. For me, it felt like paying a premium for average content, so I won’t be buying again.

"My 9-year-old was able to get through most..."
My 9-year-old was able to get through most of it without me having to sit next to him the whole time, which was a nice surprise. It didn’t feel too babyish, but it also wasn’t so hard that he got frustrated. I had asked support about the age fit beforehand, and they basically said it was made to be “challenging but still doable” for kids his age, which turned out to be accurate. Overall, it felt like the right level for him.

"It had everything I needed. All the..."
It had everything I needed. All the material was there, nothing was missing... which made studying so much easier for me. I didn’t have to waste time trying to track down extra stuff, so that was a big relief.

"I was getting impatient trying to keep..."
I was getting impatient trying to keep my kids entertained, but greatscience.com made it way easier. There are so many experiments to pick from that we just kept clicking around and finding new ones to try. Some are super simple, and others need a few more supplies, but the variety is great and my kids didn’t get bored for once.

"I ordered a science kit from greatscience.com thinking..."
I ordered a science kit from greatscience.com thinking it would be a fun little activity for my kid, and at first it did seem promising. But once we started putting it together, the quality issues were hard to ignore. A few of the pieces felt flimsy, and one part didn’t fit the way it was supposed to, so we spent more time fiddling with it than actually enjoying it.
It technically worked a bit, but not well enough for what it cost. My kid lost interest quickly because it kept coming apart, which was frustrating. Shipping was fine, so no complaints there, but the kit itself just felt disappointing overall.
